OUTCOMES
Once you completed this level, you will have the ability to:
- Carry simple discussions involving the following themes:
tourism, entertainment, & special occasions. - Identify & correctly use a selection of pre-verb prepositions.
- Differentiate between the different forms of the subject (المُبتدأ)
- Identify attached, and inferred subject pronouns (الضمائر المتّصلة والمستترة)
- Identify detached subject pronouns (الضمائر المنفصلة)
- Identify & correctly use stressed syllables (الشّدّة)
- Identify & correctly use demonstrative pronouns (أسماء الإشارة)
- Grammatically analysis attached and inferred subject pronouns, as well as demonstrative pronouns at the beginning of a sentence
- Correctly write a selection of demonstrative pronouns
COURSE CONTENT
- Oral discussions, commenting on pictures, reading, listening to texts, listening and writing exercises, dictation…
- Grammatical rules concerning:
- verb indicators (pre-verb prepositions)
- the significance of the pronoun (قد) with past & present tense verbs
- attached, detached & inferred pronouns
- demonstrative pronouns at the beginning of a sentence
- stressed syllables
